Mission
At Locked In The Attic Productions, it’s all about creating art. Everything we do, every story we tell, every production we mount, every experience we create, is about art.

History
Founded in 2015 by Seanie Sugrue and Amanda Martin, Locked In The Attic Productions is a theater and movie production company that has rigorously put out original plays and screenplays, partnered with Five OHM Productions, to an ecstatic reception. Backed by a talented cast and crew, we plan to continue bringing shows to our audience for years to come, the grittier and dirtier the better.

Seanie Sugrue is originally from Tralee, County Kerry in Ireland. In March 2005 he moved to New York City, where he spent the following thirteen years. In 2014 while producing his first feature film he wrote his first play Black Me Out! which premiered in New York City in 2015. He followed that up with three more original plays in the same year. In the summer of 2016 after directing his fourth play Love is Dead!, which later became a feature film, he wrote his debut novel, Cardboard Coffins. After the release of the book, he wrote and directed the feature film Misty Button in 2018 which was heavily featured in the 2019 Film Festival circuit on both sides of the Atlantic, picking up numerous awards. In early 2020 before the theaters closed, Sugrue's most recent play The 8th won "Best Production" at the Origin 1st Irish Theater Festival in New York City. Seanie now splits his time between Los Angeles and New York.
